1. Equipment introduction
1.1 Overview
Water conservancy projects are related to artificial waterways, river regulation and barrages. By using experimental flumes in the laboratory, the necessary fundamental principles can be taught. The experimental tank is a closed water circulation loop. The cross-section experimental section is 87x300mm, and the length of the experimental section is 2.5m. The side walls of the experimental section are made of plexiglass, which allows for good observation of the experiment. The design of the inlet element allows the flow of water into the experimental section to be virtually turbulent-free. The inclination of the experimental flume can be fine-tuned to simulate a slope and create a uniform flow of water at a constant drainage depth. A variety of weir plate shapes are available to ensure experimental planning.
1.2 Features
(1) The device adopts a steel square tube frame structure, which is simple and elegant as a whole. It is equipped with universal wheels at the bottom and can be flexibly moved.
(2) The training platform has a good safety protection system.
(3) The simulator is made of transparent material to facilitate observation of water flow conditions.
(4) The water flow speed can be adjusted through the ball valve.
